I’m Bud, a self-taught artist with a passion for painting that emerged in an unexpected way. After a battle with COVID-19 in 2021/22, I developed Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) and chronic fatigue, which changed my life in many ways, including requiring the use of a wheelchair. In the midst of these challenges, I found art—and it became my sanctuary.

Teaching myself to paint has been a journey of discovery and healing. Each piece I create reflects my personal experiences and my belief that beauty can be found even in difficult times.
